Annette Lidster
The Artistic Director, Annette Lidster, is a qualified teacher who has an M.A.dist.(Middlesex University) and an Advanced Certificate in Directing (Central School of Speech and Drama).
She has worked extensively in secondary and further education in Harlow; for Essex Behaviour Support; and has also worked for the National Theatre: Education Department; Central (CSSD) and for Harlow Community Health Trust.
Annette has led, nationally, a wide range of dance and drama workshops for people with, and without, severe learning difficulties and disabilities.
Mandy Jacobs
Mandy trained as a performer at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She went on to work professionally and helped to establish Community and Theatre- in-Education companies in the Highlands of Scotland and in Harlow. She returned to full time education and achieved a BA Hons in Education Studies and History of Ideas. With a PGCE, Mandy then embarked on her teaching career, working primarily with people with learning difficulties and disabilities as a lecturer in Further Education Colleges.
Mandy has been project manager for Razed Roof's hub groups, linking with Special Schools and our many community partners; and she is involved in the delivery of the sessions with our RRUSH group operating in the Uttlesford area.
She loves working with Razed Roof and with RRUSH where ‘the world is … as the world should be!’
Jane Band
Jane has extensive experience in working with people with learning difficulties and disabilities from years of teaching in Further Education and in a Special School. She has a first-class honours degree in Psychology and has been responsible for a diverse range of project work for charities: MENCAP and ACCURO.
Jane has been a member of the staff team since the company began and has delivered school workshops and devised performance opportunities for school groups.

Rory Davis
Rory is Razed Roof's Technical Director
Rory trained as an electrician, holding a City and Guilds Electro
Technical Technology qualification; and is an associate member of the
Institute of Professional Sound. He began his training as a Technician
at Harlow Playhouse when he was just 12, working on numerous shows and
events; he then became an important member of the technical team working
on all disciplines of Technical Theatre. Rory has toured the UK both as
Assistant Stage Manager and Production Manager, and currently teaches
at Passmores Academy in Harlow.
Rory joined Razed Roof in 2009 and is now their Technical Director. He
has worked with the group in their workshop sessions; supported with
trips, tours and visits; and was the technical manager for the memorable
community event 'Together in Harlow'. Rory says," I really enjoy
working with Razed Roof as each show is an exciting new challenge."

Steven Morfett
Steven joined Razed Roof as a BTEC student in 2009 and performed in our National Theatre Connections productions. He went to Central School of Speech and Drama and graduated with a BA hons in Drama and Performance.Steven was volunteering with Razed Roof during most of our productions....and proved so invaluable that he then joined the staff team. He has worked on a range of Razed Roof projects with Special Schools, secondary and primary schools, universities, and the wider community.
Steph Wright
Steph began working with Razed Roof in 2012: she has performed in several productions and has co-facilitated workshops together with the company.
Steph gained a BTEC National diploma in sixth form and then worked in a support role for the performing arts department at Sheredes School. She now runs after-school and holiday Dance sessions for Mayhem Arts; works with children with Additional Needs for the charity ACCURO; and is involved in delivering a wide range of the Razed Roof project work.
Jim Lidster-Browne
Jim studied Dance and Drama at GCSE, and BTEC and 'A' level in Drama; and is now studying for a combined degree in 'English, Linguists and Drama' at Kent University. His love for the Performing Arts includes playing guitar, with many performances and playing on a couple of European tours.
Jim spent a year working in a secondary school as part of the Learning Support team. He has been part of the Razed Roof project team and has assisted and performed in various Razed Roof productions. Jim works with Razed Roof and with the charity ACCURO for children with Additional Needs, as-and-when his university terms allow.
Anna Everett
Anna began working with the group back in ’98 when she was studying a
BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Harlow College . She was
part of the Community Arts group and performed in both Gizmo and Inform.
Anna went on to study at De Montfort University and obtained a BA Hons
in Performing Arts. For the past five years she has been working
freelance in performing arts mainly with children and people with
special needs. She has also led various drama workshops, clubs and
projects as well as teaching for established companies. More recently,
Anna also works in film: advertisements, TV and movies.
Emma Logan (with Joseph)
Emma began work with the group as a BTEC Performing Arts student. After completing a course in Social Care, Emma was invited to work as a support assistant on a range of Performing Arts college programmes for people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities.
Upon completing her City and Guilds teaching qualification, Emma taught Dance to the Entry Level college students. Since becoming a Mother, Emma has been working with Razed Roof as a member of the support team; and she is the Lead Facilitator for the Razed Roof Hub group RRUSH which operates in the Uttlesford area in conjunction with ACCURO.
Jo Richardson
(Razed Roof Administration and Funding Applications)
With a degree in Business Management from the University of East Anglia, Jo has a wealth of business management and administrative experience.
Over the last four years she has been working in the fields of Arts and Culture, involved in festival management, project management, fund-raising and events organisation. Jo became involved with Razed Roof when she was managing Essex County Council Life Raft Trust grants scheme in 2009 and is now delighted to be working with us.
